So those that follow my Facebook page know that recently I put an image up of being a proud fruit loop in a world full of weetbix (yes dad I am the fruit loop..x). I posted this, because it is at the heart of all change, the ability to not only accept yourself as unique, but to live that uniqueness proudly. I conformed to who I thought the world wanted me to be until I made myself ill. I ...will never again hide my true self. I am not saying it is easy, people like to place you in a box and when you break that box you confuse them. Their instinct with the unknown is to judge you or even ridicule your behavior. That is why I made this image today. Turn that negative experience into a positive life affirmation. When they mock you use it as a positive expression of how uniquely you are living your life. As the wonderful Dr Suess said “Today you are You, that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is Youer than You.”..x sare
